The Crossing was commissioned by Lindy Hume for Four Winds Festival 2022 and is one of five films made on heritage bridges on the Tathra to Bermagui road called 'Home Stretch a love song to the Tathra Bermagui Road'.
The Crossing was made by a small collaborative team, we immersed ourselves in the environs of the heritage bridge at Wapengo Creek and asked questions; What would the place say if it were to speak? What does the bridge lay upon? We mapped the location, the bridge, and under the bridge to draw awareness of this place and the experience being in the body at the site.
